Tips and Suggestions

Clothing and water

• Wear comfortable walking shoes as the air show grounds are expansive.
• Don’t forget to bring sunscreen or a hat to protect yourself from the sun. If you do forget, sunscreen and hats, along with jackets, blankets and sweatshirts, will also be available at the Gear Up Vintage Wings store on site.
• Drink lots of water to prevent dehydration.
• Please pick up any loose garbage as it can get sucked up into aircraft engines.

ATMs

There will be ATMs located on the air show field. Admissions and all food vendors accept cash only. The Gear Up Vintage Gear Store accepts cash, Visa, Mastercard and Interac.

Security

Air show security reserves the right to hand search all backpacks and bags.

Smoking

There is absolutely NO SMOKING on any of the air show ground. However, this year we have added a fenced-off designated smoking area well away from any of the aircraft.

Outside food, drinks and coolers

Outside food and drinks are permitted. However, coolers are prohibited except for small coolers carrying life saving medicines or formula bottles for young infants. A wide variety of food and drink options will be available for purchase from air show vendors.

Alcoholic drinks

You are prohibited from bringing in alcoholic drinks.  However, you  may purchase alcoholic drinks from a designated licenced location.

Restricted Items

The following items are prohibited: coolers, pets, tents, bicycles, roller blades, ladders, large umbrellas.

Permitted Items

The following items are permitted: chairs, strollers, cameras, blankets, small umbrellas.

Aircraft Rides
